Maleny Printmakers is a small group of printmakers, promoting the beauty and variety of printmaking in all its forms. Printmaking in Australia is experiencing a resurgence and Maleny Printmakers are participating wholeheartedly in this renaissance.
Maleny Printmakers was established in 2013 with the purpose of printmaking artists getting together to share their knowledge and skills and hold exhibitions open to the public to promote their work. Today we have more than 25 members and hold a number of exhibitions throughout the year.
In 2020 Maleny Printmakers will be holding an exhibition at Mary Cairncross Discovery Centre in the theatrette. The theme of the exhibition is linked with the theme in the Discovery Centre - "Bugs in the System" and looks at the invertebrate species that are seen in the Reserve. The exhibition will be on from June 5th - June 21st.
Later in the year (November) Collectables exhibition will be held at the Maleny Community Centre in the Veranda Room.
